As the first line of defense for JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC), Control Management prevents, detects, and monitors operational, regulatory, and reputational risks. In support of operational excellence, we play a key role in meeting our client commitments and act as a driving force behind the strategic priorities that will future proof our business in an ever-changing global landscape.

We are seeking a seasoned senior Executive Director as the Head of Controls for Operations, Fraud and Financial Crime across UK, Germany and new markets. You will be responsible to lead a small, but globally diverse team that support the business proactively manage and address their operational risks. The role will be spread over both build the bank and run the bank activities, as we continue to run Chase UK, and expand our product offering and into new markets.

As a senior leader within International Consumer Bank (ICB) Controls team you are at the centre of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks, and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers and communities. As a small and growing team you will be responsible to help build the knowledge and experience of the team and demonstrate skills in building an effective team across all levels of the organisation.

**Responsibilities**:
Based out of London (or Edinburgh) your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Drive a risk management culture across ICB, with specific focus on education, accountability, challenge and support in building robust processes and controls.
- Effective implementation of the ORM Framework across Operations, Fraud and Financial Crime
- Regulatory Engagements: Lead global regulatory interactions/relationships/exams with OCC, FCA, BaFIN, ECB etc and subsequent Matter Requiring Actions (MRA) for ICB as related to areas of coverage.
- Building and Leading the Fraud, FinCrime and Operations Control Team for UK, Germany and any new markets as we continue to expand. Ability to hire exceptional talent and provide appropriate guidance, training and integrating members into our team.
- Managing full-time professional JPMC employees globally (muti national manager) including directing their workloads, conducting training, processing personnel actions, managing budget, overseeing day-to-day duties, and reviewing as well as providing feedback on the team’s work product. Coach and mentor rest of the newly formed control team to create new leadership pipeline.
