Environmental and Energy Coordinator

Our Environment and Energy department is looking to recruit an **Environmental and Energy Coordinator.** This is a new role within the team which will be key to helping deliver our sustainability targets.

**Your Tasks**
- Allocating energy usage and waste productions to departments on a monthly basis.
- Ensuring that documented energy and environmental procedures are kept up to date and relevant.
- Support with collection and preparation of data for energy and environmental reporting schemes including the Climate Change Agreement, UK Emission Trading Scheme and Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting.
- Checking waste transfers against Waste Transfer Notes to ensure compliance with waste regulations.
- Conducting local internal audits in various departments across site as part of a multi-disciplinary audit team.
- Helping to maintain the ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 Management Systems, including monitoring and updating actions in the EGGER Management System (EMS).
- Developing, implementing and updating departmental production KPIs across the plant.
- Organising meetings for the Production/Technical functions as required.
- Communicating and co-operating with other EGGER plants and group personnel.
- Maintain an administrative and orderly system for the function.

**Our Requirements**
- Good standard of secondary education
- Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience in a job related role preferred.
- One day Health and Safety course.
- Must be well organised, efficient, personable and have a good, confident telephone manner.
