**Reports to Digital Workspace Manager**:
The Aztec Group have a requirement for a Technical Specialist focused on the Microsoft Cloud suite of products, with experience in supporting enterprises built around the Microsoft Technology Stack. The role will involve working closely with both in-house specialists together with external consultants, partners, and the business.

You should be able to clearly demonstrate excellent technical, analytical, organisational and communication skills together with a proven track record in digital / cloud adoption and support of these cloud technologies.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Monitor, document and maintain effective system configurations
- Management and implementation of system deployments and upgrades
- Working with team members and members of the architecture team to analyse system architecture and configurations and highlight potential improvements
- Work with the Digital Workspace Manager to review, develop, plan, and implement strategies to provide a continuous program of systems improvement
- Own and manage complex issues and see through to completion
- Implement changes using the appropriate change-control process across the IT infrastructure
- Monitor support incidents and work with support staff to provide effective prioritisation and resolution
- Ensure technologies are deployed in compliance with Aztec Security framework and standards and monitor the roadmap for these technologies, enabling the business to leverage improvements and new features quickly and efficiently
- Identify project requirements by interviewing users/staff, analyzing operations, determining project scope, and documenting results
- Prepare and maintain procedure documentation relating to the overall environment
- Ongoing professional development including the attaining of professional qualifications as agreed with the Digital Workspace Manager

**Skills, knowledge, expertise**:

- At least 5 years' experience within an IT environment
- You will have significant experience with the Microsoft Technology Stack and suite of products, including, but not limited to, Azure Active Directory (AAD), Active Directory (AD) Directory Services (Hybrid Identity), AD Connect, Azure AD Identity Protection, Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection etc.
- An understanding of Azure Security Services (Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Azure information Protection, Azure Security Center, Azure Log Analytics Microsoft Cloud Application Security)
- A good understanding of the Microsoft Cyber Security Reference Architecture
- Experience in integrating on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD
- You will be highly proficient with Group Policy and Active Directory administration
- Familiar with products such as Enterprise Cloud Identity (access, management, security), Conditional Access, Single Sign On (SSO) / Multi Factor Authentication, Intune / Autopilot / Device Manager / MDM / MEM
- Experience with virtualisation technologies
- A good understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VOIP and VPN
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level of detail and technical content for the target audience
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to systems management
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- You will be a collaborative team player and innovative thinker who will look for new ways the business can leverage the technologies available to improve efficiencies and capabilities
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a diverse workload
