Through new Department for Education Family Hubs and Start for Life fudning, we are recruiting and training a dedicated first 1001 days family support team who will support infant mental health and the parent infant relationship where there are mild to moderate issues.

Therefore if you are a highly motivated and experienced practitioner with a creative flair for working with socially excluded families we would like to hear from you. You will be experienced in working collaboratively with colleagues and practitioners across the partnership and planning and delivering a range of evidence based interventions with parents and carers. You will support the development of family focused work and build on strong existing relationships with our Thrive network, further developing the perinatal mental health pathway offer to cover pregnancy to 2 years, working closely with the perinatal MH team, health visiting, midwifery and the wider partnership.

You will be able to work with parents and carers to meet their children’s needs enabling them to develop ways of handling relationships and behaviour that contributes to everyday life with children and young people.
