Event Coordinator

**Duties**:

- Plan, organize, and execute events such as conferences, weddings, fundraisers, and corporate meetings
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide appropriate solutions
- Select and book venues, vendors, and suppliers for events
- Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are within the allocated budget
- Coordinate event logistics including setup, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and accommodation
- Create event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution
- Oversee event registration and ticketing processes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all event details are communicated effectively
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Evaluate the success of events and gather feedback for future improvements

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure all event details are accounted for
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of fundraising principles is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional guest experiences

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.50 per hour
