We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to join our talented and dedicated Fundraising team.
This is an incredible role at a prominent assistance dog charity where your role will be a part of our essential work that transforms lives everyday.
What will you do:
In this role you will be supporting local communities across the South of England to raise income and awareness for Canine Partners. You will work with local businesses, schools and other related organisations to take on fun challenges, organise coffee mornings and inspire new and creative ways to raise vital funds. Using your shared enthusiasm for our mission and vision, you will inspire communities to come together to support our cause.
What we're looking for:
- First class communication and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Experience of effectively managing relationships with clients/external stakeholders/audiences
- Ability to develop and implement operational plans
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to deliver results
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent presentation or public speaking skills
- Report writing skills
- Event planning or similar experience
Whilst previous experience working in the charitable/fundraising sector may be advantageous, we're keen to utilise skills gained from other sectors or education. Skills and experience gained in other sectors that may help you thrive in this role include: Sales, events management, business studies, marketing & communication, customer services or volunteer management.
