**Position: Accounts Receivable Administrator (Credit Control Team)**

**Location: Cardiff**

**Salary: £20,000 pa**

**Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week**

**Contract: 3 to 6 month contract initially, with potential for permanent opportunity**

The job of a Finance Administrator / Accounts Receivable Administrator will involve the following responsibilities:

- Manage manual allocations of cash gained daily
- Manage and investigate credit note allocations
- Reaching out to debtors for required remits or further allocation information, and assist the team with any queries as a result of your allocations
- Liaising with Finance to arrange refunds as necessary
- Providing daily support for our Credit Control & Accounts Receivable Teams, which includes cash/credit note allocation issues and reconciliations
- Update customer records to reflect payment dates and remittances, to enable cash forecasting
- Assist the Credit Control Manager and Senior Staff with any ad-hoc administrative duties
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to allow best practice
- Challenge working processes and suggest improvements
- Escalate issues to the Team & wider business
- Experience in cash allocations (ESSENTIAL)
- Administration experience within a commercial environment
- Ideally a background within finance credit control
- Understanding of administration within a financial setting
- Knowledge of CRM and their importance within a business
- Computer literate and confident with multi-system use
- Good Excel skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and clearly both internally and externally
