To help run the day-to-day operations of the Minera Lead Mines Visitor Centre. To include the retail and refreshment concession and to provide information and excellent customer service to visitors and to help maintain the physical appearance of the site both internally and externally.

Summary of Main Responsibilities
- Welcoming visitors to the Minera Visitor Centre and museum.
- Selling pre-packaged food items and preparing hot drinks.
- Selling souvenirs and refreshments from the shop.
- Provide information to visitors regarding the site and local area.
- General administration tasks, such as taking bookings and telephone calls related to the site.
- Helping to maintain a clean and tidy visitor area including the toilets and outside areas.
- Counting and recording stock levels. Operating till/card machine.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings as required.
- Represent the organisation professionally to internal and external contacts as required, assisting with the promotion of projects and the broader activities of the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with the organisation’s Health & Safety Policy and other established policies and procedures, preparing risk assessment and good health and safety management for activities.
- Clean and maintain any equipment used as required.
- Any other duties in relation to the running of the Centre as required.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
