We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to join our team for **one year **at Chirk Castle.

What it's like to work here:The magnificent Chirk Castle is situated on a sweeping 480-acre estate on the Welsh border and is brimming full of 700 years’ worth of history. The property offers a superb visitor welcome, and the 29 strong team welcome people with superb customer service skills to help bring to life the castle’s powerful story. The property offers a lively and diverse programme of events, and the development of the wider parkland is one of the exciting upcoming projects due to take place. People travel in either by public transport or car.

What you'll be doing:As a Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of inspiring interpretation and engaging programming to deliver a year-round offering of events and activities at the property.

You will be creative but also highly organised as well as detail orientated, delivering high standards of presentation across the property.

You will be happiest in an active, fast-paced environment where you will be delivering an event such as Easter while simultaneously forward planning for future pieces of programming such as Christmas. No two days are ever the same and this is a hands-on job both planning and physically creating our visitor offer at the property.

As a champion of exceptional visitor experiences, you’ll join a high performing team which will include regular weekend and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
