Parts Administrator

**The Company**
Our client is a Hull based family firm established in 1982 with their head office based in Hull. The company Installs, maintains, and services in the following disciplines, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Ventilation, Electrical, Plumbing and Heating.
They are now recruiting for a Parts Administrator to join their Service and Maintenance team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ordering all parts for jobs
- Keep spare parts documentation available and updated.
- Communicate with various department personnel, customer departments and others to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities.
- Dealing fully with all warranties and all returns
- Ensure parts are retuned within set timescales.
- Dealing with purchase orders
- Chase awaiting parts.
- Carryout any additional duties when required.
- Working well alone and with other member of the service and maintenance team.
- Liaising with the warehouse manager on parts, warranties, returns and stock levels.
- Liaising with engineers to replenish van stock.
- Look for competitive prices for all parts weekly.
**Requirements**:
- Experience working as a Parts Advisor buying and selling parts.
- Have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Excel.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering and parts information databases
- Ability to conduct themselves in accordance with Company policies
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Be highly organised and have a great attention to detail.
**Hours** - 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday
**Salary** - £22,000 - £25,000 dependant on experience
**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Parts Management: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
