Upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment;
- Analyses and monitors all debtors and actively works to reduce delinquency, ensuring prompt action is taken for non-payment and overdue debts;
- Agrees KPIs and team targets with the Operations Director and delivers against them, managed through day to day guidance and direction;
- Provides future cash collection expectations for inclusion in the weekly cashflow forecast;
- Ensuring cash receipts are posted accurately into the finance system;
- Supporting with the evaluation of potential clients by providing and reviewing credit reports;
- Liaising with the Pay & Bill team to feedback issues and solutions with invoicing processes;
- Prepare monthly board report on credit control performance
- Managing a team of 5 direct reports.

**Requirements**:

- Holds CICM or other recognized credit management qualification;
- At least 4 years of managerial experience (4-5 direct reports)
- Proficient with Microsoft packages - strong Excel skills is a must (Intermediate level such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs)
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Recruitment or similar fast paced environment experience is desirable;
- Extensive collection and debt recovery experience with large, International organisation;
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders both internal and external;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, engaging personality, tenacious, can-do attitude and with proven experience of producing results and problem solving;
- Good organisational and time management skills;
