Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be retained on the recruitment process to support one of the largest growing educational providers within the area on finding an experienced PQ/QBE Finance Manager. You will be a key member of the finance team, reportingto the UK Financial Controller, where you'll be involved with preparing all aspects of the day to day management accounting, budgetary and financial controls, and overseeing the operational tasks, such as credit control, reconciliation's, and banking. Youwill also manage a team of two other staff members and will be heavily involved with developing their skill-sets and growth. This is an great opportunity for an hard-working individual who is proactive, detail oriented and analytical minded who will be atthe financial heartbeat of the team.
- Responsible for month end accounting to ensure the processing of transactions, is on time and in-line with strict deadlines
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation's
- Involved with the budget and forecast preparations/ cash-flow monitoring
- Variance analysis and commentary on results to budget and prior year
- Provide analysis of reconciling items showing monthly ageing and supporting business ownership for resolution
- Posting of journals, accruals and prepayments
- CAPEX and fixed asset register
- Monthly payroll, and PAYE returns

They are currently going through the process of implementing a new GL software (XERO) so you'll be involved with updating, adapting or streamlining any relevant processes that are needed to be completed.
