**Purchase Ledger**
Input supplier invoices onto accounting system (Sage50)
Match invoices to orders and code to appropriate nominal account and cost centre
Obtain authorisation of supplier invoices and input onto Accounting System, and make payments via online bank transfer
Manage weekly payment run and submit to Account Manager a suggested list of payments on a weekly basis
Reconcile supplier statements and deal with disputed accounts
Process staff expenses
Set up new purchase ledger accounts and manage existing account details
**Sales Ledger**
Raise invoices when orders are received and input sales orders onto accounting system (Sage50)
Sales order control management
Set up new supplier ledger accounts and manage existing account details
Manage receipts (cheques and BACS) including posting to the supplier’s ledger/cashbook
Process requests for refunds due to credit account balances or overpayments and handling credit requisition forms and re-issuing invoices
**Credit Control**
Follow up with customers once sales invoices have been sent out
Send monthly statements to customers
Partner with Customer Care/Legal where needed for any disputed accounts
**Monthly SAAS Renewals**
Prepare monthly SAAS renewals using Dynamics and Accounts schedules
Check for new sites to be added to list and amend details accordingly
Send out SAAS invoices on time
**Online Payments**
Analyse weekly payments and prepare remittance report to be sent to schools
**Ad hoc Duties**
Hotel/travel bookings for internal staff
Petty cash reconciliation and month end
**Preferred qualifications and skills**:
Degree in Accounting & Finance or Qualified or Part-qualified in AAT, ACCA or CIMA
IT literate and proficient in use of Office products - proficiency in Excel is essential
Experience in using Sage
Good verbal and written communication skills
Flexible, enthusiastic and self-learner
Able to prioritise workload
