**About the Role**

We are looking for a **Senior** **Reward & Recognition Senior Adviser** to join our growing and developing team, following a recent restructure of our People’s team geared towards improving their ability to provide support to the University alongside services teams. The role holder will pro-actively communicate rewards and benefits provisions across the University including organising roadshows to showcase our current provisions and communicating changes to any of our current offerings including updates to our total reward statements.

Working closely and reporting into the Reward and Recognition Partner, the role holder will lead a review of the current benefit provision and propose and implement new benefits which align with our values and culture identified through market research and internal stakeholder engagement, closely knitting it to the EVP.

The role holder will support the development and implementation of reward and recognition strategies and the operational delivery of all aspects of day-to-day reward and recognition activities. These will include managing the current recognition scheme, Above and beyond; the role evaluation process including acting as a role evaluator; supporting salary benchmarking completion and analysis; coordinating annual pay reviews and key pay and terms and condition surveys.

The role will also provide detailed insight and analysis of pay and workforce data to support the development of pay ranges and understand potential market challenges, as well as maintaining our statutory obligations for equal and gender pay.

**What we will need from you**
- Experience of working in a reward role or a strong generalist HR or recruitment background with a sound knowledge of reward practice and principles.
- Strong numerical and advanced analytical skills and experience of creating reports and providing accurate and timely data/MI analysis to inform decision making and assess impact.
- Evidence of up-to-date knowledge on matters which affect pay and reward, specifically equal pay and gender pay.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Experience of undertaking role evaluations or using HERA evaluation methodology.
