**Your role at Orbit.**

**Part time role available - 25 hours per week - Mon to Fri 5 hours per day**

We are looking for a capable Activity Officer to work at our Extra Care scheme based in Southam

You will be responsible for liaising with the customers to find out their needs and produce a monthly calendar of events, to support an inclusive friendly environment. You will manage and run some events but encourage customers to lead on others.

Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers will be key to make this role a success and promote wellbeing at the scheme. There is a small team onsite at the scheme to work alongside and support.

- Ability to work in an organised and effective manner
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work under own initiative as well as team working
- Flexibility and adaptability, particularly with regard to working hours
- Good standard of education
- Knowledge of local resources for older people
- Knowledge of health and safety issues including risk assessment
