The role

As a large and multifaceted Data Controller, Southern Housing needs an embedded and mature Data Protection Team to handle its legal requirements in respect to Privacy and Security. As one of the Privacy Officers for the Group, you’ll support the Data Protection Manager in ensuring that we meet these legislative requirements. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that we adhere to individual rights requests, managing Data Breach Incidents and carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments effectively and as required.

The location

Working as a Privacy Officer, you will be located at our office in Farringdon, Fleet House or Building 300, Kent Science Park. The role will offer flexible working.

What you'll have- An analytical approach to task management and problem solving.- Knowledge of the UK GDPR, either through experience or certification.-
- The ability to work well under pressure and respond to variable workloads.- Excellent customer service skills.

Whilst this is primarily an office-based role there may be a need to travel to other offices. Therefore, it is advantageous to have access to a vehicle and have a UK driving license or be able to take public transport if a preferable option.
