- We'll look for you to support and embed data privacy activities, ensuring requirements to relevant data protection legislation are interpreted and implemented, and that associated risks are minimised.
- Influence and challenge senior risk stakeholders in the interpretation and implementation of internal policy and regulatory requirements, flexing between corporate thinking and a start up innovative mindset
What you'll do
As a Privacy Analyst, you'll work with the Data Privacy Officer to develop and deliver processes, procedures and controls to manage the data privacy risk in support of our data privacy strategy of delivering long term sustainable value and positive customeroutcomes.
You'll also be
- Driving the data privacy agenda across the business, identifying and producing high quality risk MI tailored to stakeholder's needs
- Make sure that all requirements of relevant data protection legislation are interpreted and implemented, and that associated risks are minimised across the business
- Support the development and delivery of processes, procedures, controls, training materials and records to comply with legal and regulatory obligations
- Review Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), assist stakeholders with their completion and make meaningful recommendations in pursuit of the management of risk
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you'll need Knowledge of UK privacy law, regulation, policy and practices and experience working in the financial services industry and the regulatory and commercial environment in which we operate.
You'll also demonstrate:
- The ability to work independently
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
- Ability to convey complex information and ideas clearly to stakeholders and embed policy
