Data Privacy Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid)
Looking for an exciting challenge where you will deliver world-class data protection services?
Resource Solutions is looking for a Data Analyst to join one of the biggest entertainment conglomerates in the world.
Joining Warner Bros Discovery in an initial 6-month contract, as a Data Analyst, you will work closely with Data and Privacy Operations Team, and partner with other cross functional departments including Legal, CSO, Product, Technology and Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all assigned DSARs/IRRs are completed within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure appropriate redactions / exemptions are applied as outlined in the Data Protection Act
- Manage and maintain the DSAR/IRR log.
- Produce reports and information summaries on completed DSARs/IRRs.
- Keep up to date with changes in data protection law and regulations.
- Taking ownership of patient issues and following problems through to resolution, where possible provide single contact resolution.
- Collating, updating and review of data processing activities, and mapping within OneTrust.
- Carrying out data protection monitoring activities and producing process plans for the business.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- 1-2 years previous Data Analyst or Business Analyst Experience.
- Knowledge of California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and GDPR.
- Experience in a privacy/data protection related field.
- An ability to think strategically, assess risks and explain the potential consequences.
- Technology savvy and capable of issue spotting privacy problems.
- Strong analytical skills: able to understand and problem solve for complex issues.
- Privacy knowledge and/or willingness and enthusiasm to dig into privacy issues.
- Experienced in documenting and implementing procedures, controls, and guidelines.
Desirable:
- BA/BS degree in relevant field.
- International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Certification is a plus.
- Consulting/Project experience, Customer Service experience, legal operations experience, compliance operations experience.
- Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
