Orthopaedic Research Administrator

The Orthopaedic Research Team has a part-time vacancy for a Band 3 Orthopaedic Research Administrator to support other members of the Orthopaedic team including clinical trials administrators, research nurses and practitioners in the delivery of a portfolio of clinical trials and research studies. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including experienced medical, nursing, administrative and support staff supporting an exciting range of studies.
You need to be self-motivated, methodical and well organised with a willingness to learn.

The main purpose of the role is to assist the Orthopaedic Research Team with all aspects of administration related to research and clinical trials according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), standard operating procedures (SOPs) and trust policies. The post holder would provide support the Orthopaedic Research Team in research activities including collecting data, completing data collection forms, assisting in the set-up of new projects and ongoing management of existing studies and assisting in workload management.
The post holder will also be involved in recruiting patients into research studies within Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Andover War Memorial Hospital (AWMH) provides community and hospital services including a minor injuries unit, outpatient clinics, diagnostic imaging, day surgery, rehabilitation and maternity services.
