**Departmental Senior Student Adviser (Up to 4 posts)**
**Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 pa inclusive of London allowance**
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science
universities in the world, with a global reach and an international student intake. Student Services plays a central role in LSE’s central administration and our Student Service Centre (SSC), where the post is based, offers mission critical functions that are fundamental to the student experience and educational journey.
This a new service to LSE. Departmental Senior Student Advisers will support the Head of Departmental Advice Management in developing the strategy for centralised taught student advice management at LSE. As your primary role, you will be responsible for delivering excellent pastoral, procedural and wellbeing advice to students, signposting to specialist services/teams when appropriate. You will complement, and add to, academic departments’ existing Academic Mentor advice landscape, ensuring a consistent advice and support approach. You will contribute to ensuring that the Team follows best professional and sector practice as well as contributing to the development of informative operational metrics to inform the continual improvement of services.
