**Scope of the Role**:
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Employee Relations**
- First point of contact for employee relations at our Newport Pagnell site, proving advice and guidance on a range of matters including absence, benefits, and policies
- Assist with disciplinary matters, grievances, and other employee matters
**HR Administration**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare and maintain HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters and changes to employment.
- Administer our employee benefits programs including health insurance and pension.
- Support with the management and administration of our in-house HR systems
- Support with the coordination of our wellbeing and charity initiatives
- Update our company organisational charts
- Assist in customer and ethical audits.
- Coordinate training sessions as and when requested.
- Supporting with our absence management process if being followed and highlighting of any issues.
- Handle sensitive data and records securely, and process requests for information in accordance with GDPR.
**Reporting**
- Ability to analyse, interrogate and evaluate data to produce meaningful HR information such as sickness absence tracking reports and employee data.
**Recruitment and Onboarding**
- Support the recruitment process, including posting job openings, and scheduling interviews.
- Support with entry level interviews
- Onboard new starters using our onboarding platform and ensuring all paperwork is up to date.
**Key Skills and Experience**:
- Experience of working in a HR Officer/Advisor role is essential.
- Experience of working with databases and management information systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel
- The ability to manage, prioritise and respond to high volumes of queries and requests for administration / systems advice and support in a calm and organised manner.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills - able to communicate at all levels within the organisation
- Logical/ analytical & problem solving skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible approach
