**Role Requirements**

The Data Collection team are highly respected experts, working on a number of high-profile surveys such as the Crime Survey for England and Wales and Understanding Society.

A key part of our success is our interviewer teams; they are the heart of our business; we are now looking for a Field Supervisor to work in and cover the **Cambridgeshire** region.

The Field Supervisor will support our face-to-face interviewing team in improving their performance and ensuring that they are carrying out their assignments within the parameters set, so we retain an experienced, engaged and high performing team. This ensures that we continuously deliver high quality, high response data to our clients.

The Field Supervisor role requires someone who is positive and solutions-focused, with excellent communication and people management skills, but also someone who can motivate individuals to perform and clearly communicate areas for improvement in order to reach survey targets and ensure client requirements are met to standards and spec.

This role is a full-time position - 40 hours per week across 5 days, which will be planned across all days of the week. Regular weekend & evening working is required. This is a **field based** role and will require **frequent travel.**

**Responsibilities and Outcomes**
- Contributes to delivery of a high-quality offer to our clients, by appraising, coaching and supporting field interviewers on specific projects, providing feedback on strengths and areas of improvement
- Highlights interviewer development needs and further support required to manager and works on improvement plans to fill in gaps
- Focuses on quality data collection and when required, carries out additional validation on interviewers’ work and provides prompt feedback
- Contributes to robust efficient best practice processes and ways of working within the regional team, to optimize productivity and focus efforts behind value driven activities
- Supports the team’s performance targets and regularly undertakes interviewing assignments, completed to briefing guidelines
- Provides telephone support to interviewers who need help troubleshooting issues whilst they are out in field
- Be an active and influential member of the team, proactively collaborating with peers to ensure successful execution of role responsibilities

- Strong communication skills and able to build collaborative relationships and communicates effectively with wider team
- Flexible across varying needs of the regional team
- Analytical, proactive problem-solving skills with a solution-focused mindset
- An agile mindset able to implement change at short notice
- A driving licence with access to a vehicle will be required for the role

**Salary**: £16,256.64-£26,000.00 per year
