**The role**
An exciting opportunity has become available for a People Operations Advisor to join our growing People Team.
The role will involve supporting the regional management teams with the starter and leaver process, basic contractual changes, updating and maintaining HR records on HRIS and monitoring the shared inbox.
**Role accountabilities**
- Responsible for allocating tickets via Fresh Service to HR Services.
- Review and authorise workflows completed by the divisional team.
- Responsible for picking up complex queries ensuring resolution in a timely manor.
- Support Fleet Services Advisor with cover or during busy periods.
- Producing weekly data exports from Fresh Service on new and resolved queries.
- Build relationships with the divisional teams to encourage better/smarter ways of working and support with any queries that may arise.
- Administering family leave requests, liaising with payroll to ensure accuracy of information provided.
- Support with written amendments to terms and conditions for transfers, promotions and probation periods.
- Ensuring regional management compliance with IR35 processes and writing contracts for casual workers that fall within scope of the policy.
- Co-ordinating monthly recognition activity and allocating rewards on Company benefits platform.
- Provide guidance and advice to regional management teams on internal processes and signpost to relevant teams.
- Run adhoc reports to support business initiatives including analysing the data.
- Working with the business to ensure long service awards are administered in a timely manor.
- Enter and update colleague details on the HRIS ensuring complete accuracy.
- Support the Support Centre HR Business Partner and the HR Services team as part of the project group delivering a seamless and timely annual pay review.
**Your skills and experience**
- Good attention to detail; ensuring all correspondence includes all relevant information, is accurate and delivered in a timely manor.
- Flexible and proactive with the ability to be a great team player.
- Excellent organisation skills and customer service skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills including a confident telephone manner.
- Brilliant planning skills enabling achievement of multiple priorities within agreed timescales.
- Solid IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint, including mail merges.
- Previous experience of working with HR Information.
