**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent - Working hours: Mon - Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Our client is currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join the team at their Head Office in Hoddesdon.
Full training to be provided so previous experience not essential.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Process and match invoices with GRNI
- Process EDI batches on a daily basis, and where issues arise report and resolve.
- Match credit notes, to either invoice in query or return notes issued.
- All unmatched invoices and Credits to be logged and resolved by communicating with Suppliers/Regional Managers/Branch Managers.
- Communicate regularly with suppliers on all queries
- Maintain and post Barclaycard/Lloyds statements on a monthly basis.
- Process DD's to accounts when appear on bank statement via cash batch
- Reconcile supplier statements, requesting copies of identified missing invoices / credits
- Work with suppliers to resolve invoice queries within 6 weeks where possible
- Process agreed contracts between sales and purchase ledgers
- Check Petty Cash vouchers and process.
- Check overheads invoices and ensure charged correctly by supplier.
- Maintain Spreadsheets Filing and any other duty that is required
**Skill required**:
- Intermediate excel skills.
- Good communication.
- The ability to liaise with all levels within the company.
You will receive 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
