Our client is seeking a Personal Assistant/Support Worker who can assist in her role as Enablement Officer for a renown regional charity. Her role is to work with individuals and organisations on improving access to services for blind and partially sighted people.

The Personal Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support within an office environment and at meetings and events. Administrative and practical tasks include note taking at meetings, technical support with ICT equipment, support during participation in, and delivery of, events etc.

As a Personal Assistant you will support the client carry out their duties:
1. General purpose of the post:
To provide practical assistance to the employer so that they can execute their work responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

2. Main duties

2.1 Provide general administrative assistance including filing, reading, diary-keeping, note-taking and maintenance of a tidy and orderly office where appropriate.

2.3 Provide technical assistance with ICT equipment including computers, printers as appropriate.

2.4 Provide general support out of the office including travel assistance to, from, in and around venues and accompanying of the employer on walks needed to exercise their guide dog during breaks.

2.5 Support the employer in their work with volunteers and customers and members of the public.

2.6 Travel with the employer to meetings, training events and conferences.

2.7 Support the employer in execution of training events to include setting up and operation of computer / presentation equipment, dealing with training packs and handling of training materials to be used by course attendees.

2.8 To act as a driver for the employer in execution of work-related duties,

2.9 Assist in clearing/cleaning of workstation areas and ICT equipment as appropriate as appropriate

2.10 Any other reasonable duties that may be required by the employer from time to time.

3. General requirements of the post-holder

3.1 The hours and days of work per week to be agreed, flexibility essential. The post-holder must be flexible in order to meet this requirement.

Dress code: casual in an office; smart casual at meetings and other external events.

4. Person specification - essential criteria

4.2 Good level of literacy and numeracy.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
