**Booking Coordinator**
Exeter Hospital | Administration | Permanent contract | Full time
Up to £24,500 depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Booking Coordinator, you’ll be a conscientious individual with a helpful, supportive approach. Your ‘can do’ attitude shines through. As well as a natural flair for communicating, both over the phone and in person, you bring strong organisation and administration skills.

**As a Booking Coordinator, you will**:

- Deal with all administration tasks for inpatient/outpatient bookings including booking appointments, liaising with consultants, patients and various departments around the hospital and processing patient details
- Handle telephone enquires efficiently and effectively, providing excellent customer service
- Ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format
- Ensure that work is carried out to required standard and within agreed working practices and procedures, prioritising the workload as necessary
- Require experience in a customer service role
- Have good communication/interpersonal skills
- Be a good team player
- Have the ability to work independently

To succeed as an Administrator you will;
- Have the ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data, and to present it in a timely and professional manner
- Have experience within an administrative or customer facing environment would be a real advantage
- Have the ability and confidence to engage with a variety of stakeholders, including consultants, secretaries and patients
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with a positive can-do attitude
- Stay calm under pressure with the ability to multi-skill
