**The Role**
Deliver the highest quality customer service via the telephone, providing basic legal advice to our prospective clients on a range of legal services and signposting to alternative advice providers where we are unable to act.
You will support the generation of new business and company profitability.
**Core Responsibilities**
- Provide excellent customer service by telephone to each of our clients.
- Assist clients with a range of legal enquiries and/or direct them to alternative sources of help efficiently.
- Research of a variety of legal issues to identify potential remedies to enable effective signposting.
- Ensure that all advice is in line with Minster Law policies and procedures.
- Ensure income maximisation through uptake of appropriate claims by providing clear, concise advice.
- Accurately record all information captured throughout the claim reporting process.
- Provide statistical information to assist in management reporting.
- Adopt a customer focused approach to the claim reporting process on each call received.
- Assist with initiatives for improvements of services.
**Person Specification**
**Essential**
- Completed or working towards a recognised legal qualification including CILEx, LPC or LLB and/or equivalent experience fee earning within a legal services environment.
- Experience of general legal principles and research skills.
- Experience working in a legal environment, including an understanding of Civil Litigation.
- Accountable for achieving objectives in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of work quality and client care.
- Competent working with a case management system.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player aligned to Minster Law’s values.
- Good attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise your work to meet deadlines.
- Customer centric approach, with strong communication and relationship building skills.
**Desirable**
- Experience and /or legal knowledge of family law, civil litigation, consumer law, debt and/or landlord and tenant disputes.
- Good use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, to support the preparation of management reporting.
- Good numeric and literacy skills.
- Team Player and acts as a role model to your colleagues, working together to achieve business and team objectives.
- Maintains a positive attitude, self-motivated and uses own initiative.
