Academic Services are responsible for providing services to all students throughout their time at UCL and for supporting academic departments and administrative staff in delivering a high-quality student experience. We also play a key role in coordinating UCL’s governance processes and academic quality assurance operations. The Student Lifecycle team works alongside the Student Records team, setting up programme and module records for all of UCL on the SITS information system. Together the teams ensure that all students’ records are set up and maintained within relevant regulatory frameworks throughout their time at UCL. The Student Lifecycle team works closely with Faculties and Departments to ensure appropriate processes are in place to maintain these records from enrolment to graduation, ensuring they comply with the regulatory framework.

**About the role**:
Student Records and the Student Lifecycle team are busy teams at the heart of UCL’s student administration. They are responsible for administrative processes from setting up of programme information, enrolment of students, module registration and the awarding of qualifications according to the regulations. The teams operate in a business partner model, meaning that a key part of their roles involves working closely with faculties and departments to understand the academic work undertaken in these departments and how this affects the student records throughout their time at UCL. The teams are success-oriented and enthusiastic in their approach to dealing with high volumes of queries whilst delivering excellent service. We are looking for other proactive, quick learners to join the team. The Senior Student Records Officer will provide effective co-ordination of UCL’s processes for student record keeping from enrolment to award. The role will involve working with academic departments in raising regulatory and process awareness with a particular focus on enrolment and liaising very closely with the Visa Compliance team.
