Medical Receptionist

- Friday 7:45am-4:45pm ( no weekends)
Our client based in Salford is looking for medical receptionists to answer their calls and deal with the queries. The client is a key point of contact for patients in making sure they and their families can seek relevant support about their care.
You will be handling patient, family or visitor calls, who may be anxious or upset therefore it is crucial you are able to provide reassurance & calmness.
- A warm welcoming telephone manner, personable & courteous.
- Patient -focused, provides comprehensive information to patients at all times.
- Empathy - Ability to understand and experience patients feelings and emotions.
- Emotional Intelligence - Manage both your own emotions & understand emotions of others, when handling patients who maybe angry or upset.
- Ensuring care for patients is well coordinated inline with surgery requirements.
- Computer-savvy - good experience with using computers.
- Ability to work under pressure - maintain a positive,professional & focused manner.
- Attention to detail - getting it right first time, all tasks done perfectly.
Training provided
- Intense 3 weeks

We are looking for someone who:
- Who has life skills;
- Is a quick learner with a strong work ethic;
- Has customer service experience of answering high volume calls;
- Is good at time keeping
- Punctuality is a must.
- Should have a clean DBS check
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £10.00-£11.42 per hour
