The post holder will provide a Personal Assistant support to the Medical Imaging Manager and the Clinical Governance Team. Although this post is based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital the job holder will be required work cross-site.

To provide a comprehensive and efficient personal assistant service to the Medical Imaging Manager and the Clinical Governance Team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing a complete range of secretarial and administrative support on a daily basis and to ensure that systems and work processes are followed and maintained.
- Responsible for implementing, following and maintaining secretarial and administrative policies and SOPs for own work area.
- Responsible for managing the internal and external post; electronic and paper.
- Type patient letters relating to Radiology TCI appointments, using the G2 audio dictation system.
- Responsible for supporting the Care Group Management Team with the administration and coordination of complaints and incidents.
- Responsible for maintaining annual leave, study leave, maternity leave and time sheet records.
- Responsible for maintenance of and supporting managers in the maintenance of paper and electronic staff records of staff.
- Responsible for supporting the Care Group Management Team in human resource procedures and processes.
- Responsible for arranging meetings, taking, transcribing and distributing meeting minutes, notes and agendas.
- Responsible for the administration and co-ordination of the meeting room bookings.
- Comply with Data Protection Act, Access to Health records Act and related Acts, Health and Safety procedures and promote a strict code of confidentiality in all business dealings and behave professionally at all times.
- Maintain good working relationships and regular communication with other areas of the Care Group.
- To cover the duties of other secretarial colleagues during periods of sickness and annual leave.
- Audio transcription of complex imaging reports to provide a fast and efficient reporting service
- Attend mandatory and statutory training appropriate to your role.
