We’re looking for our new **Communications Lead **, and it could be you

The PR & Communications team are looking for a **Communications Lead **who is passionate about being the voice of the business - communicating through channels such as the press and group website, whilst also managing crisis communications and leading on PR campaigns and internal employee engagement.

Your day to day will include writing press releases, reactive and proactive press statements, managing the company’s reputation via a mix of channels and audiences, relationship building with various external stakeholders and supporting PR campaigns, crisis communications, media enquiries and media monitoring. You’ll also be involved with internal communications - helping manage employee engagement activities and communication project plan development and implementation.

**A little more of what you’ll do**:

- Responding to media enquiries and writing, clearing, and issuing statements and press releases
- Writing proactive and reactive press releases
- Writing proactive and reactive internal communications for sharing via our various internal communications channels aligned to our agreed calendar of events
- Maintaining relationships with journalists and internal & external stakeholders
- Briefing and preparing colleagues for media interviews and advising on communications issues
- Assisting the team with the development and delivery of the communications strategy
- Assisting with media photo calls and launch events internally & externally
- Working collaboratively across different functions and operating companies to ensure timely proactive communications.

**What we need from you**:
You’ll have excellent communications skills, with previous experience in senior stakeholder management in a corporate environment. You’ll be confident in building good working relationships, and your verbal and written communication skills will be second to none.

We’re also looking for previous experience of working in a press office or similar busy news environment and/or an internal communication function, with a strong track record of building relationships with the media.

You’ll keep a cool head, and work well under pressure, with a sharp focus on deadlines.
