As the operational technical support you will be supporting and deputising for the Operational Compliance & Quality Manager in their absence, working closely with external or 3rd party auditors and local authorities ensuring full compliance with all food service legislation and regulations.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: - Deputise and support for Operational Compliance & Quality Manager by being primary contact for any 3rd party auditors, local authorities and external contractors
- Internal auditing
- Full understanding of the importance of company QMS and operational procedures (training will be provided) - Identifying, analysing and resolving compliance related issues - conducting internal site audits

To be considered for the role you must have
- Minimum of Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
- Previous experience in the food industry
- Previous fresh meat cutting plant experience
- Working knowledge of HACCP, Environmental Health & hygiene practices and systems
- Previous experience identifying, analysing and resolving compliance related issues
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to high standards and specifications
- Reliable, honest and hardworking with a can-do attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Problem solving
- Work well under pressure
- The ability to work to strict deadlines
- The ability to work well as a team, and on own initiative and manage relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good understanding of the English language, both verbal and written
