**Job summary**:

- Working in a team with Helen Wilkes, Head of Provider Services and the Affordable Housing Provider Services Team, the Business Support Officer will play a critical role in supporting the smooth running of the team. You will be joining our talented team of 24 people, who are committed to making positive change in how we deliver our Affordable Housing Programmes.**Job description**:
The Team believes in delivering a first-class customer service, resolving queries from stakeholders regarding the Affordable Homes programmes, informally wherever possible, taking an innovative and creative approach to policy and delivery issues. Helen values diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving across the team.

Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective provision of administrative support and have the opportunity to help support a well organised, ambitious, high performing team.

The role will support the design and delivery of key projects around the provision of grant funding to Housing Associations, Local Authorities, housebuilders and others to provide affordable housing. There are some rewarding projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the provision of support services to our stakeholders.

**Person specification**:
Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders on Affordable Housing, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a Provider Services team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.

As an experienced Business Support professional you’ll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
