Group Finance Solutions Group (GFSG) supports Group Finance with identification, analysis, planning and delivery of its Strategic, Regulatory, and process-automation change initiatives through aligning cross-divisional expertise in a dedicated Run-The-Bank change team.

You will join the GFSG function, now called the Finance Business Process SME chapter, comprised of a team of Finance SMEs, who manage strategic transformation initiatives for Group Finance. The core responsibility of the team involves, business and functional analysis of front-to-back infrastructure for Debt Market Finance processes wherein risks, control gaps, issues, and dependencies are defined, followed by configuration of strategic platforms fit for purpose, re-engineering of functional processes, ultimately driving adoption of strategic platforms into Business Finance, with the goal of achieving a control focused and optimised end state.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Perform a lead role in the coordination of front-to-back pipeline set up (or) configuration (or) enhancement of infrastructure and/or functional process in Business Finance for Fixed Income & Currencies & Treasury Business Finance
- Design and deliver against the strategic initiatives through the full project life cycle, including analysis, design, establishment of a service model, testing, user training and adoption
- Deliver high-value improvements in the valuation platform in preparation for migration onto newer strategic calculators by optimising configurations, updating Profit & Loss (P&L) attribution calculation methods, and streamlining current Risk, P&L production processes
- Conduct gap and impact analysis through meetings/seminars with Group Finance stakeholders, coordinate infra landscape across the broader Group Finance organisation
- Configure, test and release infrastructure changes in legacy Risk platform that will enable new business, and market risk calculations and reporting for Incremental Risk Change, Value at Risk (VaR), Stress Testing
- Configure and manage test environments for projects related to analytics & risk valuation engine version upgrades, market data changes, pricing methodology updates by generate regression test results

**Your skills and experience**
- Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
- Good IT skills (Advanced understanding of Excel and SQL are essential), programming experience and understanding would be beneficial
- Project lifecycle experience and understanding (of any nature) is essential
- Experience on Agile projects is desired
- Self-Starter and delivery focused
