**The role**

Our client, an established Audio-Visual specialist organisation, are seeking an AV Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical assistance and support for the ongoing servicing and repairs of existing systems, through the suite of services they provideto their various clients, as well as commissioning of new work.

This would entail working closely with both client and internal teams to ensure system build, commissioning, installation, and service/maintenance is performed to the highest standards.

The role will mostly be remote, with the occasion requirement to visit sites around London, either for escalation of servicing/repair (such as carry out site surveys if required for potential problems like surfaces, flooring, cabling) or during the design/commissioningstage of new projects for clients.

**Role responsibilities**

The role responsibilities typically fall under two main areas:
**Subject Matter Expert Commissioning -**providing Project Managers support in the successful delivery of projects, working from design through to installation and set up to ensure they fall within client expectations

**Submit Matter Expert Service and Support -**act as point of escalation for any reported service issues, including advanced fault finding & troubleshooting, for on-site or field service engineers and clients.

This may also involve providing user-training to the end client and support teams in the best practice of system use and support scenarios

Examples of technologies and knowledge the SME may cover could include:

- Codec configurations, provisioning systems on VC infrastructure (i.e. TMS), phonebook creation
- Code uploading to Crestron devices (panel, processor, x-panel, server)
- Control System and Crestron, AMX and other leading manufacturers programming and Fault finding.
- AV conference networks. E.g., Dante audio and Multicast video streams.
- Understanding of configuration of Digital Sound Processors (DSP) such as Q-Sys, Biamp and Clearone.
- Support of Digital Signage, Satellite systems and IPTV systems from Tripleplay, OneLan, Exterity and MediaStar.
