**Job summary**:
Here at Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, Stanford Hall we are looking for a highly motivated, reliable and well organised Skill Zone 1 Unit Assist Team 2.

This position offers 37 hours per week. Requests to work flexibly and/or part time will be considered, taking into account business needs.

**Job description**:
**Person specification**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assist the Unit Safety, Health and Environmental Protection Officer (SHEPO)/Deputy SHEPO in the maintenance, servicing and siting of portable firefighting equipment and fire doors.
- Provide a professional and personable manual labour service to both staff and patients.
- Be responsible for Individual Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices, by delivering evidence-based practice in line with Unit IPC Standard Operating Procedures. Promote, challenge and sustain the IPC vision of delivering harm-free care.
- Provide maintenance, cleaning and upkeep of the dedicated Quartermaster Division storage areas
- The transportation of personnel via the unit buggies under direction of the QM2IC
