**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

We currently have a very exciting opportunity for an Events Executive to join our events team involved in organising conferences, exhibitions and networking parties, in a portfolio which is experiencing strong growth. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, who is up for a challenge, who can work on multiple tasks and hit deadlines.

You will have experience with events and are ready to take on this challenging and exciting role. This role will support the Event Management team to ensure we continue to deliver successful events and exceed client expectations.

You believe in live events and will strive to make our events a better experience for all stakeholders.

In this varied role you will work closely with senior executives, suppliers, venues and the internal marketing, sales, customer success and design teams. You will also be working closely with our sponsors and exhibitors so you need to be strong at building relationships with our key accounts.

**ABOUT YOU**

You must have:

- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to consider practical solutions and improve processes
- Adept at keeping others updated and informed
- Event planning and coordination experience
- Experience in managing suppliers and keeping track of spend / costs
- Experience with delegate registration management
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple timelines, deadlines, actions in a collaborative fast-paced environment
- Excellent client management experience, confident in building relationships
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Able to deal with high pressure situations
- Experience using Google Suite

It would be nice if you had:

- Knowledge of or an interest in the sports betting or gaming industry
- Experience of CRM and Ticketing platforms
- Working proficiency in Portuguese

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Pre-event**
- Tracking and updating floorplan edits from the Sales team
- When needed, updating our ticket tracking system, Bizzabo
- Responding to customer queries on event and logistics needs
- Manage travel bookings for SBC staff attending our own events and other industry events where SBC have a presence
- Track and manage hotel bookings for staff and guest attendees
- Accurately recording and communicating travel information to colleagues
- Supporting the Events Team with creating briefs and tracking documents across; AV, Features, Networking Events and Sponsorship Activations
- Support the Event Manager and H&S contractors in the stand approval process
- Working with venues and event suppliers to assist Event Management team to prepare the relevant briefs and information packs, such as; Hall Manager / H&S packs, Hotel briefs, Networking brief
