**Job Title**: Buildings & Site Maintenance Support
**Job Role**: Operating within The buildings in Waterlooville and following group processes and procedures. Reporting to and taking direction from the Facilities, Health & Safety Manager for all aspects of buildings and site management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Learn and adhere to operational procedures and systems
- Provide support to general buildings/site maintenance and cleaning as directed
- Assist Refurbishments Supervisor and Skilled Labourer in renovations as required, including
oBuilding and demolition
oFabrication and decoration
oGroundworks
oPlumbing
oElectrical support
- General internal cleaning of buildings when Facilities Assistant is on leave
- General weekly maintenance including tasks such as clearing of outside areas, drains (sweep, power wash etc.) and maintenance of all external green areas by way of strimming, clipping and weeding, as required
- General monthly maintenance including ensuring routine pest control is completed and gutter cleaning and maintenance, as required
- Other general maintenance tasks to include but not limited to:
oGeneral painting and decorating
oGeneral plumbing and carpentry work
oAssemble, fix & repair of furniture, fixtures and fittings
- Support relocation and other general projects as required
- Complete all reactive maintenance to a high standard
- Support Facilities, Health & Safety Manager with ensuring maintenance purchases and supplier costs are of good value for money
- Accurate and timely recording of time and costs, management of time and costs to budget.
- Support Facilities, Health & Safety Manager with health & safety reviews as required
- Assist in keeping a clean and tidy working environment in the interests of organisation and safety.
- **Job Responsibilities - General**:

- To act as an ambassador for the company, promoting a positive image both internally and externally, demonstrating support of our strategic direction.
- Support the environmental management, security and safety aspects of all Waterlooville buildings and assets.
- Conduct the routine maintenance and general up-keep of all Waterlooville buildings.
- Support in the supervision of 3rd party contractors associated with maintenance and building works.
- Attend work out of usual hours as necessary (24 hours' notice will be given, where possible).
- Support Facilities, Health & Safety Manager with additional tasks where required
- Ensure that you have adequate training to fulfil your role and request further training as necessary.

Your will be set specific objectives and your performance against these objectives will be reviewed with you quarterly.
