**What will you be doing?**

Reporting to and taking direction from Facilities and Health & Safety Manager, you will be managing Waterlooville sites to ensure all facilities are maintained to a high standard and compliant with health and safety regulations. Other duties include:

- Site management of various buildings and first point of contact for any issues that cannot be resolved by external contracted agencies.
- Support the completion of Risk Assessments and associated Safe Systems of Work for premises and equipment, and review regularly.
- Ensure the workplace is a safe environment, supporting Health and Wellbeing initiatives and promoting the reporting of all accidents/incidents and near misses.
- Provide effective response and allocated resource to address the requirement of workplace maintenance and improvements.
- Management of weekly/monthly safety checks within the building (e.g., fire alarm testing).
- Agree receipt of deliveries and ensure secure storage of supplies.
- Support FHSM and Work Nest to carry out and work through actions arising from annual Health & Safety Audits.
- Act as Incident Coordinator for all major incidents that occur during office hours and support Fire Marshals in the delivery of fire safety procedures for all managed sites.
- Act as key holder for all Waterlooville buildings and support the management of security incidents in accordance with Building Security procedures.
- Participate in monthly Health & Safety Committee Meetings to support conformance to Health & Safety regulations.

As the ideal Facilities, Health & Safety Advisor, you will possess the following:

- IOSH or NEBOSH certification desirable.
- Facilities management experience advantageous.
- A good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements is required to support the completion of risk assessments and compliance to Health and Safety Regulations.
- Knowledge of ISO standards.
- Strong organisation and time management skills; able to juggle multiple demands and priorities successfully.
- Adaptable and able to work flexibly in the context of a group of medium sized growing businesses.
- Full driving license preferred but not essential.
