We are looking to recruit aTissue Viability Specialist Service Team Leader, who is dynamic and passionate about person-centred care, to lead on the delivery ofhigh quality, evidence-based care for patients with complex Tissue Viability needs. You will be a highly skilled and experienced nurse who has a warm personality, excellent people skills and strong leadership.

As the Tissue Viability Specialist Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for the professional leadership and management of all team members to ensure compliance with professional standards and the achievement of key performance indicators. You will lead and promote patient safety campaigns relating to tissue viability and pressure ulcer prevention, maintaining visibility within the Trust as well as locally and nationally.

The Tissue Viability Specialist Service Team Leader will be integral to the delivery of safe, effective, consistent, and high-quality care.

**The role will include**:

- Working closely with Learning and Development to ensure delivery of a relevant and up-to date Tissue Viability training strategy to Berkshire Healthcare staff.
- Overall responsibility for the close working with commissioners to support the clinically and cost-effective delivery of the dressings budget.
- Contributing to the development of team morale and motivation through effective personal leadership, monitoring the physical and emotional health of the team, promoting a supportive and collaborative team working environment.

**The “must haves” for you to be considered for this role**:

- Professional nursing registration with significant post qualification experience of senior leadership.
- Experience in community setting/tissue viability specialism at senior nurse level or above
- Teaching & Assessing qualification.
- Master level degree / modules or equivalent experience
