We are a **multi-award-winning** digital payments platform within the automotive industry. We work with over 4,000 automotive retailers, helping drivers to pay for motoring costs, accessories and other services through a variety of different payment options, and are looking for a dynamic and passionate **Customer Support Agent** to join our small but mighty Operations team based in our swanky new office in Sheffield.

Our Eyre Street office is our new HQ, with offices also based in London and Turkey. We've recently brought retailers in Germany and Spain on board, and plan to expand into the Netherlands and Portugal - world domination here we come

**A bit about the role...**

Reporting into our team leader, you’ll be part of a team responsible for helping our customers manage their repayments without breaking the bank, using a balance of empathy, compassion and commerciality to **treat our customers fairly**.

**Day to day responsibilities...**
- Answering customer enquiries
- Reviewing accounts that are behind on payments and working out what's next
- Contacting customers to agree payment arrangements that work for them
- Sticking to timescales and regulatory requirements to reconcile customer accounts
- Reaching (and smashing) targets for quality and productivity
- Following Company guidelines

**Now a bit about you**

Our new Customer Support Agent will be passionate and energetic to match the vibe of our Bumper family, with aspirations to join a thriving company on a scale-up journey - aiming to embed Bumper as the **No.** 1** payments platform in Europe

The great news is you'll be able to work from home one day a week. In terms of weekend working, on average you will work one Saturday and one Sunday a month, paid at a higher weekend rate - we offer that time back in lieu the following week, so you'll have plenty of time to catch up on that series you've been watching

**Must haves -**
- Experience in a customer support or service role
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to be a team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Slack, and bespoke platforms
- Proven ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- A passion for customer service and delivering high standards of customer satisfaction

**Nice to haves -**
- Previous experience in credit/debt management customer service
- Knowledge of Buy Now/Pay Later processes
