An exciting opportunity has become available for a **National Account Executive** to join a successful gift and home accessories company who have been established for over 100 years.

Working as part of the National Account Support Team your main duties will include managing new product development requirements for our customers, briefing the factory/design team, developing a critical path for shipment and liaising with the factories/designers to manage the sampling, packaging definition and production process from ordering through to on time shipment and delivery.

Taking ownership for delivering a world class level of customer service, you will work with merchandisers to make recommendations on stock and coordinate the receipt of sales estimates and orders to ensure that all customer stock requirements are received and processed quickly and accurately with on time delivery.

Working with the Distribution Centre team to ensure that all orders are picked, packed, processed, labelled and prepared for delivery exactly to customer specifications.

You will need to have a positive approach, ability to resolve queries, desire to work to targets, show resilience, have a willingness to work in a team, have excellent communication skills, an ability to work to deadlines and confident/literate in all Microsoft programmes and general IT systems, you will be willing to cross-cover within other areas of the business as and when support is required.

The role will support the 3 National Account Managers, across a wide account base, providing an unrivalled high-quality service to our customers within agreed or reasonable timescales.

**The Role**:

- Arranging despatch of goods and managing delivery dates.
- Handling customer specific enquiries.
- Performing administrative functions with customers’ orders.
- Ensure effective communication with your manager and your team.
- Working with Far East factories to provide a bespoke product service, ensuring everything remains on track to deadlines.
- Understand your customers’ needs and maintain and exceed customer service standards.
- Be a bright, motivated, empathetic, and professional person.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
- Computer-literate and good keyboard skills.

- Successful past experience in a similar role with complex and highly detailed sales administration.

- Analytical and logical thinking and ability to interpret customer insight.
- Energy and passion for all fields with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Computer-literate and good organisational skills.
- High attention to detail in order to manage critical paths effectively.
