Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Advance practitioner to join Child Protection team for Sheffield City Council

Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking Initial Assessments
- Undertaking Core Assessments
- Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries
- Undertaking Pre-Birth Assessments
- Undertaking Parenting Assessments
- Undertaking assessments
- Undertaking Risk Assessments
- Completion of Section 7 reports requested by Family Courts
- Completion of Section 37 reports requested by Family Courts
- Providing Section 17 support to families and children in need
- Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children

Essential Requirements:

- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
