About the Job:

This is an excellent opportunity to join Sheffield City Council's Housing & Neighbourhood Service as a Council Homes Specialist. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of our council homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Council Home Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of our 39,000 council homes, ensuring they are safe and well-maintained.
  • Electrical Services: Manage our electrical services, including the operational delivery of our domestic electrical programme and other electrical installation programmes.
  • Tenant Liaison: Build relationships with tenants, providing them with information and support on electrical maintenance and improvements to properties.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
