**Job summary**:
The Government Property Agency is changing the way the Civil Service works and is at the forefront of Government's transformation agenda; reshaping the relationship civil servants have with their place of work. The Agency is central to the delivery of key Government policies including moving 22,000 Civil Service roles out of London by 2030 and tackling climate change by contributing to the Net Zero agenda. **Job description**:

- Troubleshoot technical issues including server side and client side with SaaS suppliers to resolve issues to the GPA's satisfaction.
- Work with GPA staff to troubleshoot and resolve deployment & configuration related problems on various platform.
- Conduct system administrator tasks as required to create new users, user group maintenance, creating and altering new screens and fields, investigate event logs warnings and issues, security permissions,.
- Internal and external technical communication on bugs, fixes, and other issues and communicate the resolutions to all users.
- Propose, design, implement and maintain software components & deployment automation which meet project requirements.
- Develop and maintain metrics, reporting, documentation.
- Actively participate in project planning, design brainstorm sessions and scrum meetings.
- Import and extract business data from the system.
- Work outside of normal working hours may sometimes be required to carryout tasks while users are not using the system.
- Escalate client incidents in accordance with agreed and documented escalation procedures.
- Experience with scripting languages like Powershell

- A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field is an advantage
- Specialised certifications such as the Systems Engineering Professional, Information Security Auditor or Information Security Professional are also beneficial.
