Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Evaluate the quality of materials and equipment to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.

**Cost Management**:Analyze and control procurement costs to optimize the use of resources and reduce expenses.
Seek cost-saving opportunities through bulk purchasing, negotiations, and value analysis.

**Supply Chain Optimization**:Ensure the availability of materials and components to meet production schedules or construction deadlines.
Optimize supply chain processes for efficiency and reliability.
Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory strategies where applicable to minimize storage costs and improve efficiency.

**Quality Assurance**:Work with suppliers to maintain and improve product quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to industry standards.
Implement quality control and assurance measures to minimize defects and rework.

**Risk Management**:Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, quality issues, or changes in market conditions.
Develop contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions and shortages.

**Market Research and Trend Analysis**:Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and price fluctuations for materials and equipment.
Use market research to make informed procurement decisions.

**Budget Management**:Manage and adhere to budgets for procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and fiscal responsibility.

**Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
Generate reports on procurement performance and cost savings.

**Team Collaboration**:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, engineering, and project management, to align procurement activities with project timelines and goals.

**Compliance and Ethics**:Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to legal and ethical standards, including compliance with industry regulations and corporate policies.

**Continuous Improvement**:Seek opportunities to improve procurement processes, implement best practices, and stay updated on industry advancements and technologies.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
