**Quality Assurance Assistant**

**(Part time - 16-22 hours per week)**

**About the Role**:

- **We are looking for someone with experience of health and/or social care to undertake quality audits.**_

Experience of Quality Audits is not essential as we will provide full training, so if you are enthusiastic and looking for a new challenge this could be for you.

Working closely with support managers and support workers, you will undertake Key Quality Audits to ensure processes, policies, and procedures are in place to deliver an excellent care quality standard, ensure locations are compliant with CQC standards and suggest opportunities for improvement and development.

**What we need from you**:

- 2 years previous experience of Health and Social Care
- NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.
- Must have a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle as this role will involve driving to multiple locations of the people we support throughout the North East on a daily basis (mileage paid)
- Awareness of the needs of those with learning disabilities and willingness to attend their homes and interact
- Must be confident to raise issues with Audits with Support workers and management in terms of where improvements can be made and also any safeguarding concerns.
- Keen eye for detail and be able to report back
- Good IT skills
