Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)

Typical day as Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

Ensuring our Document Management System is well maintained, including administrating our legal register, compliance, consultation and lessons learnt trackers. Supporting Craig, our Quality Assurance Manager to conduct regular audits for ISO 9001 (external and internal), creating reports, action plans and lessons learnt, briefing colleagues on audit outcomes. Regularly monitoring performance across all aspects of our Quality Management System, including investigating customer complaints or non-conformance issues relating to quality management and processes. Ensuring we have well implemented quality assurance policies, processes, standards and manuals.Including testing processes, providing training and guidance to teams to drive a culture of quality and compliance. Supporting change projects and working collaboratively with colleagues across Development, Asset and wider teams, bringing insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvements.

You have

Previous experience in maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems, with knowledge of the key requirements of the standard.  Strong computer skills, with experience working within SharePoint and applications such as Power Bi, Power Apps and Microsoft Office. Previous experience in a quality assurance role (including document management and change management) within residential construction or housing. You’ll bring a good knowledge across statutory and regulatory compliance for Registered Social Landlords and new build housing. Degree in a related subject or equivalent work-related experience in change management and quality assurance. An eye for detail, be a great influencer and be intuitively collaborative when working with others to deliver great outcomes.

Job details

Full time, 37.5 hpw Monday to Friday. If you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run, we’re ok with that too This is a hybrid role, based at least two days a week from our office at One Strawberry Lane and from home. With occasional working from our other offices and locations to support audits. A full current driving licence and access to a vehicle for work would be useful but not essential, we’ll pay for your mileage.
