**Job Title**: Administrative Officer

**Location**: Homeworking, with infrequent travel (probably a few times per year)

**Contract length**: 12 months with likely extension

**Salary**: £21,000 FTE

NRVS is the specialist, accredited, UK-wide national service for road victims, delivering day-one onwards case-managed care for anybody who has been bereaved or seriously injured in a road crash or supporting a road crash victim.

**The Role**

This isn’t your average administrative role because your impressive organisational and administrative skills will be directly enabling our busy team of NRVS caseworkers to operate more efficiently and ultimately do more good work, by helping more people when they need it most.

**Key tasks**
- Management of referrals into the service and accurate logging of sensitive data.
- Administration of assigning referrals to colleagues across the NRVS Central and Regional teams.
- Recording information onto the CRM system.
- Providing effective admin support to the whole NRVS team and Head of Service
- Administering and securely storing service users’ details.
- Administration of the monitoring and evaluation process for service users.
- Taking minutes for Regional and Central team meetings.
- Handling information of a sensitive nature, including circumstances around road crashes and causes of death/injury.

**You bring**

Essential
- Extensive administration experience, including experience of working remotely.
- Experience of handling personal sensitive information with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft programs and data management.
- Experience of managing your own workload, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- The ability to cope in high-pressure environments.
- Professional and effective written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to cope in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to work creatively, adaptively and with flexibility across a range of circumstances.

**Desirable**
- Experience of working with those affected by road traffic collisions.
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of working with people who have experienced sudden loss and traumatic bereavement.
