The post holder will coordinate the administrative pathway of patients to ensure that waiting time targets are not breached. The post-holder is responsible for pleural, TB and General Respiratory patients. The post-holder will facilitate BCG bookings for babies within the TB service ensuring they are booked in within their target date. Post-holder will coordinate pleural patients to minimise ED attendances.

The post-holder is also to be involved in service improvement to streamline the patient journey and ensure that the trust delivers a quality service and gold standard patient care. The role will involve working with a range of staff across the entire organisation including midwifery and child health records for our BCG service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly are essential. Applicants are encouraged to contact the department for further understanding of the job role.
